报告题目：Salivary miRNA Expression in Children with Persistent Post-concussive Symptoms

报告摘要：每年受脑震荡影响的儿童较多，其中近1/3会发展为持续性脑震荡后症状(Persistent post-concussion symptoms, PPCS)，影响时长达数月，相较于未发生PPCS的儿童，该群体更有可能缺课、情绪低落、缺乏社交以及生活质量低。近年来，检测脑震荡儿童PPCS风险增加的生物标志物(如唾液miRNA)受到越来越多的关注。miRNAs是一种可以调节基因表达的小型非编码RNA分子，研究表明，其可以控制神经元损伤和修复的细胞过程，也证明了利用包括血液和唾液在内的体液来识别与脑损伤相关的miRNA表达变化的可行性。探究唾液miRNA表达水平在PPCS的儿童中的情况，以及随着时间变化的情况，为识别潜在客观的PPCS预后生物标志物提供依据，将有助于在急性损伤后及时发现PPCS风险更高的儿童，从而形成早期个体化治疗计划。

报告人简介：Professor, Department of Pediatrics, College of Medicine, The Ohio State University. Prof. Yang, a principal investigator in the Center for Injury Research and Policy at the Abigail Wexner Research Institute at Nationwide Children's Hospital of America, has a international reputation as a leader in pediatric injury prevention research. Prof. Yang is directing three NIH-funded R01 studies, and her research focuses on two areas: improving sports-related concussion recovery among children and adolescents and improving safe driving among teens. Prof. Yang has published 184 high-level academic papers, Editorial Board member of Sports Medicine and Health Science, Journal of Head Trauma and Rehabilitation, etc.
